 Lesson 2
I. OBJECTIVES:

2. Competences: 
 - Correctly pronounce the words sliding, riding, driving and say the sentence 
pattern: He’s/ She’s/They’re ________(V-ing) in a chant.
3. Attitude/ Qualities:
 -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. 
 Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students, love activities in the 
 playground.
II. TEACHING AIDS:
 - Pictures, E- book, computer , projector, pictures, recording. 
III. PROCEDURE:

 1.Warm- up: Check-up:5’
 *Aims: to help ss remember the words that they 
 have learn in lesson 1.
 *Teaching techniques
 - grouping, miming, ask and answer.
 *Procedure:: 
 -T asks ss to say the letter and the sound they learnt - SS say the letter and 
 in lesson 1( I/i , /i/) the sound.
 Say “Open your book page 49 and look at lesson 2” -SS open their book.

 Activity 1. 3. Listen and chant:10’
 *Aims: to correctly pronounce the words sliding,

*Context: The picture shows some children are 
playing in the playground.

*Procedure::
- Have ss look at the chant on p. 49 in their books -Look at the picture and

-Have Ss look at two pictures and say what they can -Look at the picture and

*Context: Pictures of: sliding, riding, driving

*Procedure:
- Have Ss look at the letter I (upper case) and i 
(lower case). Ask ss to make sure if they recognize -Ss look and listen.
